CTRL / ALT / Delete
The old fashion way of turning off or logging off your computer was to hold down the CTRL and ALT key together and press down on the Delete key and then let go of all three. It still works! This can be done from any screen.
The following menu appears in the middle of a purple screen.
Lock will lock the computer so that the computer can not be used until a password is entered.
Switch user will log you out and awaits for someone else to log in.
Sign out: Signs you out.
Task Manager: The Task Manager menu appears. This allows you to close any programs which are hung.
