Macro Documentation

Documentation

When you begin creating macros, create a file to store the macros information in it. The file should contain a list of all the macros in table format. The table should include three columns for the following:
  • MacroName,
  • shortcut keys, and
  • description.
As you make more macros add them to the list.

This is how to be a good programmer. It is good for you and for those who follow you in the job.

Some Macros you will only use once a year at year end reports. You have to remember what it did and what the shortcut key is. Having documentation will help you.
