Word: Create a Table

Click on the Insert tab






Click on the Table icon.


The drop down menu appears as shown on the left.

Move mouse over the number of rows and number of columns you want in the table.
When the table is the size you want, click ENTER.
Note: You don't need to worry about rows. Rows will automatically be added to the bottom of the table as you press TAB. 








A table will appear with a number of columns and rows you selected.

Two new contextual tabs appear at the end of the ribbon under "Table Tools".








Moving Around the Table
Tab            Move to the next cell on the right
Shift Tab  Move to the previous cell on the left
